​This document clarifies how user data and any sensitive information is handled in the app.

Get coordinates 

We do not hold any coordinates or user information on our own servers.

The app “GPS Logger (GeoStats)” get GPS-coordinates via phone's sensors and hold GPS-coordinates in phone memory. GPS-coordinates can exported to GPX format by user and copied to somewhere manually.

​Location

The app requests permission to access the phone’s location only in order to get GPS-coordinates. 

ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION – Allows an app to access approximate location

ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION – Allows an app to access precise location
